Symptoms Of Anxiety and Anxiety Attacks:

Psychological Symptoms Of Anxiety

General Anxiety Disorder may cause changes in your behaviour and the ways you think and feel about situations, creating symptoms like:

  • Restlessness
  • A sense of dread
  • Feeling constantly “on edge” and worrying
  • Difficulty concentrating
  • Being irritable

Symptoms may cause people to withdraw from social situations (social anxiety) to avoid feelings of worry and dread.

They can also find going to work difficult and stressful and withdraw from work. These behaviours can make people worry even more about themselves and increase their lack of self-esteem and stress.

Please read on as anxiety can be treated in a short period of time.

“Since my medical retirement of my offshore work due to incessant depression, panic and anxiety attacks, the last 5 years of my life have been a blur of doctors, therapists, counselors, courses and copious amounts of medication.
I regret in saying that I chose to go to Mark as a last result but now wish I had done so much much sooner, I went expecting the usual ideas and exercises to be practiced but instead I found myself thinking.
Mark challenged me to dare look at the world differently, in turn I now challenge myself and have found that with these new eyes I have a better outlook on the world and have a brighter future ahead of me.”
