A panic attack is a  sudden overwhelming feeling of acute and disabling anxiety

Psychological panic attack symptoms:

  • Firstly, we develop an overwhelming feeling of fear.
  • Secondly, we can also have a lack of reality and we become detached from our surroundings mentally.
  • Thirdly, we can develop sudden attacks for no clear reason that can last between 5 to 20 minutes.
  • Lastly, they are not dangerous and don’t cause physical harm.
  • In conclusion, please do not take this list as the only thins that happen.

Physical panic attack symptoms may include:

  • Heart palpitations
  • Sweating
  • Trembling
  • Hyperventilation (shortness of breath)
  • Choking sensation
  • Chest pains
  • Feeling sick

Self help for a panic attack:

  • Avoid Caffeine.
  • Avoid alcohol.
  • Use stress management techniques.
  • Avoid smoking.
  • Use 7/11 breathing when you sense overwhelm.

Can panic attacks be cured?

Yes they can!

Hypnotherapy and other well established approaches have proven an excellent cure to stop panic attacks.
